Several magazines in the world of fashion publishing long lists of the most important shoes of summer 2011. This recognition comes when you are bouncing off the season. We see some of the major trends are strong colors, but also earth colors, buckles and heels.
No wonder that the first post has gone to Christian Louboutin, the firm that prevails among the most famous, with its iconic red soles. Here is a model with heels, closed-toe and open the ankles around with tapes and buckles, while covering the front fringe. The model is called Change of the Guard and the winners were the pink chewing gum.
Second, Tabitha Simmons for Ocean Project captures the essence of the sea in these original sandals, followed by a hybrid sandal botineta and Bionda Castana named Tabea gray and pink shoe. Charlotte Olympia gets fourth place with Red Dolores, also buckle at the ankle and the platforms stand in the front.
Balenciaga sneaks in fifth place with his blue suede shoes, simple but very elegant, especially for detail also covered heel suede. Follows DVF model with Zia Citron platform, very much for the original lines of its design as for its lemon-yellow. Worth almost triple the sandals – boots Miu Miu, but certainly it is a plug-in that looks alone.
Charlotte Olympia achieved a rank in the “Top Ten” with its leather pumps nude color called Dolly, repeating the detail of the front platform. Very original, peaking at 9, the ballerinas of Tory Burch, imitating gummy candies, which give name jelly ballet pumps. If by now you are missing the most popular name in shoes of the last decade, do not worry, Jimmy Choo also joined the 10 most desirable, but only in tenth place. It does this with a thick strappy sandals in tan, we again see the buckle on the ankle, and a beautiful composition of textures and shades of brown.
In the rest of the list are several trends that are repeated, such as wooden pallets or raffia.
Prada adds them soled rubber sneaker style, a detail that seems to be stuck in England as I found several of its models on the list.
Although there is a strong tendency to platforms and heels, the low sandals also have their place, especially those who can bring a touch of class with some original little detail.
And one could not forget, we also find quirky designs that make us think about who would wear those shoes, but certainly stand out:
