Thus, otoplasty is proposed as the classical solution for these cases, it is the art of plastic surgery that models the ear and gives them a way that gives more consistent with the patient.
Indeed, the classic technique involves making a small incision in the back of the ear cartilage to sculpt reshape the ear and then secure it with points in a pleasurable way. In general, it is an outpatient surgery, in which the patient returns home with some pain after the procedure.

Another disadvantage of adhesives is that they often irritate the skin, making it difficult to subsequently otoplasty surgery.
For babies and toddlers, you can often identify handles ears – especially if it is a characteristic family trait. In these cases, you can put bands and splints, working with still very soft tissue of the cartilage and can be molded in another form more esthetic. They are used for about five or six weeks.
Meanwhile, a specialist should carry out controls to be corrected as well. As a disadvantage, in many cases large ears do not stop or handle provided with the face, and then grow the face and ears will be small. That is why the method is not recommended in all cases since then also can cause complications in the normal course of it.
You can also turn to devices that are used to attach the ears and as time goes on it gets “crush”. It offers very acceptable results.
Techniques without surgery ear correction does not provide results as radical as otoplasty surgery but are less expensive and have associated risks of operations, such as infections.
